The best way is to clean the emergency lights and avoid dirt building up as it may block the light, mainly need to do in the car parking area.

Testing Type
- Manual Test: In this manual, the power is turned on for 90 mins and the person goes around to check personally if all the emergency lights are working, this should be checked without affecting the building occupants adversely.
- Automatic Standalone Seft-test: It will automatically test the battery and display the result in fixed intervals without any power shutdown. By looking at the rest results it can be identified whether the battery has passed the test or not.
- Monitored System: In this, all the emergency lights are connected to the computer using cables or wireless communication, light can be tested using the software, and more over the result will be displayed in the system which is easy physical check.
